Financial Peace University 13-wk Study Series began February 21st. What is Financial Peace University?
Game night launched Februaray 3rd at Linn Grove UMC. It was a such a hit, that another was held February 17th. Next game night will be at Bloomfield, March 2nd at 6:30. Game night will rotate between the two churches. Game night photos
Laundry of Love, February 25, 2012 10am - 1pm @ Wash-n-Dry 4810 SW 9th. We assist patrons with the task and expense of their laundry. Snacks and drinks are provided while they wait. LOL the last Saturday of each month.LOL photos
January 14-15, 2012, 30-35 volunteers from Bloomfield UMC, Linn Grove UMC and Windsor UMC conducted a two day mission trip at Bidwell Riverside. We cleaned and organized the food pantry /distribution building and we organized and painted the day care and Administrative office building.
December 12th, 2011, Bloomfield hosted a Christmas Open House for familes of the Bidwell Riverside daycare and Bidwell staff. Click here to see the fun we had.
Ongoing Outreach:
A food pantry donations area is set up in the fellowship hall of the church. These food items are donated to area food pantries. In the first few
weeks 934 Items have been collected and delivered to Bidwell Riverside food pantry. As area food pantries announced a cut back on the amount of food those in need can receive, we at Bloomfield have increased our effort to donate. Low income families can not purchase non food items with food stamps. So we also collect and donate personal and cleaning items. This week we have focused also on 'unmentionables', socks, and other.
